Moving to Miami from Bulgaria at an early age, Stan began producing in 1996 by 2003 he already had a massive world-wide hit with De Moma De under the name Casa Flava, which also hit UK Top 40 Dance Chart. Stan was soon invited to play at Miami’s hottest clubs becoming a pioneer in today’s Miami South Beach Sound, he was resident in clubs like “The Living Room”, “Opium”, “Prive”… Stan’s prized performances reached global heights and has been playing for some of the hottest clubs in USA, South America & Europe, among them are: Mynt (Miami) – VIP Stars Global Underground, WMC (Winter Music Conference), Cielo (NYC), Ibiza (DC), Sancturay (Dubai), Cacao Beach (Bulgaria), Progressive Daddy (Moscow), together with names like Wally Lopez, Sultan, Daren Emerson just to name a few.
As one of the highest selling artists on Beatport, Stan Kolev had several #1 hits and his music appears on compilations like Renaissance – The Master Series by Hernan Cattaneo, Buddha Bar VI, Great Wall by Paul Oakenfold, Subliminal Sessions – Voodoo Nights by Erick Morillo, Balance SOS 013, Nick Warren picked up Stan’s track Soma Funk for his Lima GU 035 compilation, his music appears on more Global Underground compilations like GU Mixed 4, Electric Calm V5, Global Underground Summer Collection, Global Underground 2010 and much much more. Stan Kolev has released more than 500 tracks, two artist albums “Emotional Content” (Ready Mix Records, 2007) & “Grace Light” (Unreleased Digital, 2011), Best of compilation – “Bulgarianz” (RDC Music, 2011), dedicated to his native country and have done several mixed compilations for brads like Vodka Finlandia, Marlboro Gold, Marlboro Filter + and more.
With such success in the world charts, it is no wonder that Stan’s music is hailed by the world’s top DJs, producers and record labels including Armin van Buuren, Roger Sanchez, Paul Oakenfold, Hernan Cattaneo, David Morales, Renaissance, Armada Music, Global Underground, ZYX and Buddha Bar just to name a few, he has done collaboration tracks with Dinka, EDX, Chris Reece, Matan Caspi, Matt Darey and more.
Stan has released his original work on Armada Music, Global Underground, Baroque, Plastic Fantastic, Ready Mix, Unreleased Digital, Dutchie, RDC Records and Outta Limits.. has done remixes for Baroque, Ministry of Sound, Unreleased Digital, Soma, Atlantic and Sony among others. Stan has also taken his music outside the club scene by producing music for Porsche TV commercials as well as having a track’s featured on the hit TV series CSI: Miami for several years in a row now.
